Every Thursday from 5.30pm at The Ambry, Waverley Greens

 

Every Thursday from 5.30pm, The Ambry at Waverley Greens serves up a proper curry night – rich, aromatic and generously loaded. For $25* choose one of two curries from the menu and each serve comes with steamed basmati rice, plain naan, crispy onion bhajis and a cold 4 Pines Japanese lager.

The inclusion of a beer with every curry is what makes this one of the best value Thursday night dinners in the Eastern Suburbs.

 

Choose your curry:

Butter Chicken

  • Mild, creamy & rich – a slow-cooked tomato-based sauce with warming spices and almonds. The crowd pleaser that never disappoints.

Vegetable Paneer

  • A full-flavoured vegetarian curry made with seasonal vegetables and paneer. Satisfying and well-spiced without the heat.

Chef’s Rotation 

  • A weekly curry inspired by Indian & Nepalese flavours – featuring rotating proteins like goat, fish (M) and kangaroo. Ask our staff what’s on tonight

What curries are available?

Three options are available each week: Butter Chicken (mild, creamy, tomato-based), Vegetable Paneer (vegetarian, seasonal vegetables and paneer) and a Chef’s Rotation inspired by Indian and Nepalese falvours with rotating proteins. Ask a team member for the current option.

Is there a vegetarian option?

Yes – Vegetable Paneer is a vegetarian curry available every week. Speak to a team member about any other dietary requirements.

Do I need to book for Curry Night?

Booking is recommended, especially later in the evening, however, we do accept walk-ins. Book a table here.
